As we deploy On’s business strategy in South East Asia and other distributor markets, as the fastest growing premium sportswear brand, we are seeking a dynamic, commercial and versatile leader to build and lead our strategic vision.

On’s Head of Commercial, Distributors will be instrumental in elevating our brand through compelling experiences. If you are passionate about sports and movement lifestyle, hold a deep understanding of wholesale, retail, omni channel, Marketing and events, and bring proven experience developing and executing strategies that inspire our communities through a curated premium distribution and an innovative experience then read On.

Your Mission

  • Own the P&L for our SEA market offline sales channel, currently operating through distributor model
  • Develop and execute a tailored omni-channel strategy in collaboration with our local distributor partners to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.
  • Build long term strategic partnerships with distributor partners to align commercial strategies with On's brand objectives.
  • Own long term offline expansion planning and collaborate with partner to ensure the implementation of standardized processes and quality of experience across distributor-operated stores including in-store merchandising, campaign execution, and customer service
  • Facilitate growth of On’s digital presence in the region including direction of owned and marketplace channels. Work alongside our digital and partner teams to implement digital strategies to increase online sales and customer engagement
  • Analyze sales data and market and product trends to identify growth opportunities and challenges. Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience, both online and in-store. Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with distributors to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely product deliveries. Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Lead distributor marketing team to define marketing initiatives and strategic direction across markets. Work closely with regional and global marketing teams to implement marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, traffic and sales across all channels.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
  • Define long term strategy for market expansion into India and other market opportunities in Asia Pacific

Your story

  • Proven experience in omni-channel management, preferably in a distributor-operated retail environment.
  • Commercial experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the sports and movement lifestyle industry and the SEA market. - You have a genuine interest in running, fitness, and/or movement lifestyle.
  • You are happy and flexible to travel often and work with a team based in multiple locations
  • You thrive in diverse, global, multicultural environments, demonstrating cultural fluency and thriving amidst multicultural dynamics.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in using data analytics tools and retail management systems.
  • You thrive when you don’t have all the answers, you work strategically, efficiently and autonomously in order to turn ideas into reality.
  • Responsible, resilient and adaptable, you take pride in your ability to manage a wide range of projects while always delivering the WOW.
  • You are hands-on, you make things happen and you are able to deliver end to end.

Our mission? To strategically distribute On's brand and products across our markets in South East Asia and any additional markets which are currently operating through a distributor model. Through our commitment to excellence, we aim to elevate On's brand presence, drive sustainable growth, and contribute to On's journey to become the most premium global sportswear brand: built on innovation, design and sustainability. Our team takes On to new heights and broader horizons with the aim to connect the brand to more communities across APAC’s emerging markets.

On’s Head of Commercial, South East Asia will be the bridge between On and our dedicated distributor team. You will report to the General Manager of APAC and lead your own team focused on bringing On to life in our distributor markets, playing a pivotal role in our channel strategy in those regions.
