As the Accounts Receivable Lead for On in APAC, you will lead a team of Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialists and contractors whose mission is to provide best-in-class service to our customers. As the AR Lead, you will partner closely with cross-departmental business partners both within the region and globally to ensure alignment on the shared priorities of reporting capabilities, process automation and efficiencies, organization roles and responsibilities and skill set training, with an additional emphasis on the development and sharing of best practices. Your Mission

  • Lead and develop a world-class AR team by implementation and analysis of AR work KPIs to identify the rooms for improvement and share and escalate the findings with relevant finance and commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead the credit management for WS accounts in APAC region including credit limits setting up, order release process and customer lifecycle management by working with commercial, HD and controlling team.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the AR team and create, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Manage and streamline the collection process and cash application functions.
  • Lead the monthly AR closing process including reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to GL and preparation of AR month-end schedules, revenue reporting and reconciliation to GL, and metrics used for internal reporting.
  • Daily review of collection reports to ascertain the status of collections and balances outstanding and reduce collection cycle times (DSO) where possible.
  • Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad-debt status to the account.
  • Monitor aging balances and recommend write-offs.
  • Working with the group finance team in implementation and improvement of relevant AR projects like HighRadius, AR insurance policy, etc,.

Your story

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • 8+ years’ experience working in an accounting, billing, or accounts receivable function is preferred
  • Previous management or leadership experience required; Industry (B2B, Sportswear, FMCG) experience a plus
  • Advanced Financial Modeling skills
  • Significant ERP (SAP, D365, etc) and BI experience
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and continuously adapts to the priorities of yourself and your team.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced and dynamic environments, and self-driven prioritization.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and work ethic particularly in a cross-cultural environment
