The On retail fleet is expanding, has big ambitions and we’re looking for a confident Retail Design Project Manager to help us take Retail to the next level.
The Retail Design Project Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of key Global Retail Design Concepts projects and strategic initiatives for both Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Business-to-Business (B2B) stores. This role ensures high-quality results that align with brand standards and strategic objectives. The Project Manager will collaborate with a range of internal teams, including Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing & Campaigns, Real Estate, and Construction, as well as external vendors such as construction, material suppliers and manufacturers, to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
The role reports to and works in collaboration with the Head of Retail Design; working directly with and in partnership with the Leads of Retail Concepts & Program Management.
Manage and deliver multiple concurrent retail design concept projects, from inception to completion, while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and on-scope results.
Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and agency partners to understand and execute their vision from brief to delivery.
Create project plans and schedules using Asana, streamlining processes and minimizing administrative tasks.
Track timelines, decisions, and conduct post-project evaluations to inform future projects.
Serve as a main point of contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, providing project clarity through effective communication flows, clear updates, and managing dependencies.
Support financial aspects, including forecasting, budget tracking, and ensuring financial accountability.
Facilitate design reviews, feedback loops, and approvals to maintain brand and retail standards.
Manage post-project wrap-ups, learnings, and appreciations, ensuring reporting and optimizations are implemented.
Identify and resolve risks and bottlenecks, maintaining alignment with broader strategic priorities.
Work with vendors and external partners to meet quality and project goals, and collaborate with legal and procurement to establish agreements.
Promote process improvement, tool adoption, and strategic problem-solving.
5+ years of project management experience in brand, marketing, retail, or agency settings
Proven ability to deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills for effective stakeholder management
Proficient in Asana and other project management tools, with a focus on automation and efficiency
Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including brand, marketing, creative, and operations
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities; experience in DTC and B2B retail is a plus
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create clear and compelling presentations that effectively convey project status and progress
An understanding of sportswear or premium fashion brands in retail teams is welcomed
Bachelor’s degree in business management, design, or a related field is preferred
