As a Lead - Warehouse Technologies & Automation, you will have the opportunity to lead projects and to support initiatives Globally, which will directly shape and impact the growth and expansion efforts at On, whilst ensuring timely, cost-effective, high quality delivery of our products. In your role you will partner closely with key stakeholders across On’s Global Supply Chain team, regional operations- logistics colleagues and 3PL partners, among many others. This position is based in Zurich, Switzerland and our working language is English.

Your Mission

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance on warehouse equipment, technology implementations, and data-driven logistics optimization

  • Manage RFID implementation projects in warehouses and returns centers, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring, reporting and quality assurance

  • Discover specific use cases for RFID technology within the supply chain leveraging RFID data

  • Support the planning, design, execution, and go-live of 3PL warehouse automation projects

  • Lead the logistics equipment workstream for a 3PL warehouse automation project in EMEA including evaluation of Change requests according to the Logistics concept

  • Evaluate and recommend equipment needs for outsourced operations

  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure project alignment, successful implementation, and knowledge transfer

  • Evaluate and recommend new warehouse technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity

  • Provide ongoing support for implemented technologies

Your story

  • Hold a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain & Operations Management or a related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse projects, warehouse operations and technology implementation

  • Deep understanding of scope and change management, with the associated cost management

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders or business partners

  • Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, preferably with Looker or similar platforms

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
