As Operation Head, you are responsible for setting up a supplier base for Apparel & Accessories products. As an important member of the Sourcing team, you will be based in Hanoi, with frequent travel within Asia & Europe.

Your Mission

  • Lead strategic and operational projects on-site with On’s Accessory & Apparel sourcing partner(s), establish Key Performance Matrix, and facilitate our partners to build strong and sustainable performances in all areas, including but not limited to production and planning, product development, cost efficiency, compliance and sustainability initiatives

  • Build strong relationships with the factory partner’s management team, influence the partner’s culture and quality mindset, and ensure implementation of On’s standards in the factory

  • Closely collaborate cross-functionally with development, supply chain, material, costing, and sustainability teams in both Zurich and in Asia and T1/T2 suppliers on all operations tasks

  • Manage and monitor factory development and production capacity to accompany On’s volume growth and manage potential risks and key bottlenecks

  • Ensure best practices and cohesive messages are constantly implemented and shared among teams

  • Lead a cross-functional team on-site to perform and achieve team objectives, guide and develop team members to unleash their potential; responsibilities include, but are not limited to: direct management of production planning, production, and quality; support product development and product commercialization; and support the costing team to achieve target margins

Your story

  • Professional degree in Textile or manufacturing

  • You should have a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in Apparel and Accessory sourcing, preferably with 5 years in a manufacturing establishment

  • Strong analytical and data management skills. Strong knowledge of manufacturing & quality

  • Basic know-how of the product development process & its requirements

  • Proficiency in English is a must. ⁠

  • An entrepreneurial and open mindset, an eagerness for differentiation, and a natural push for excellence

  • Able to balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast-paced environment

  • Leadership skills & relationship management.
