We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Machine Operator to operate a state-of-the-art, fully automated sports shoe manufacturing line in Zurich. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that incorporate a polymer extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting. As Production Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing any minor issues that may arise during production.

Your Mission

As a Production Machine Operator you will:

  • Operate production machines that utilise extrusion, automation, and robotics technology
  • Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets quality requirements
  • Conduct routine maintenance on the machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may impact production efficiency
  • Follow established production schedules to meet output targets. Maintain thorough and accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and efficiency
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Your story

-Technical training or certification is a plus

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a production environment, with knowledge of polymer extrusion, automation, and robotics
  • Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
  • You are able to communicate in English
