Great opportunity to join one of the world’s fastest-growing sports brands as a Senior Lead, Finance Japan & South Korea! This role provides professional finance and controlling support to On's business functions in Japan and Korea, focusing on omnichannel growth. Key responsibilities include financial budgeting, planning, monthly reporting, and financial modeling for commercial initiatives. The role also involves partner negotiation support, cost control, financial guidance to local management, and ensuring compliance within the region, while participating in global finance initiatives.

Your Mission

  • Partner with On business functions in JP and Korea with professional finance and controlling support to support the omnichannel growth in those countries.
  • Responsible for Financial Budgeting and Planning at On for JP and Korea market
  • Monthly management reporting package for local management and for regional controlling to consolidate
  • Financial modelling for financial analysis required by the commercial team in terms of new business model/investment.
  • Providing finance supports in the negotiations on the commercial terms with partners including suppliers, dealers etc
  • Analyze and control market-driven costs by working closely with regional controlling team
  • Enabling and bringing financial acumen to the local management team
  • Champion for compliance in the Japan and Korea market by working closely with other finance members in the local and regional accounting team as well as other functional teams like legal, IT etc,.
  • Performing in global/regional finance team in various finance initiatives

Your story

  • +8 years above prior Management experience in the financial accounting/control area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese, Korean Language skill will be an added value
  • Experience in sportswear or retail business will be an advantage
  • Former experiences working with international environments
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to work effectively with different stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Open minded to face challenge and uncertainty
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or Administrations, Management MBA or CPA qualification highly desirable

About the Team

As you might expect from a sports brand with running at its core, the Japan team at On is a fast-paced place to be. You’ll be part of the APAC Finance team and co-working with a group of highly motivated individuals. The shared goal? Efficient growth at high speed- what else?

This role is based in Yokohama, Japan.
