One of the fastest-growing premium sportswear brands is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Non-Financial Reporting Senior Specialist to support the development and execution of our non-financial reporting activities, primarily focusing on our annual IPR. This role will be crucial in bridging the non-financial reporting and other teams, ensuring the accurate, complete, and auditable ESG data and disclosures, aligning with relevant frameworks and regulations for Swiss, US and other relevant jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG topics, reporting standards, and data management, coupled with excellent collaboration, communication and project management skills.

Your Mission

  • Manage the end-to-end IPR process, including planning, coordination, execution and project management within reporting timelines.
  • Contribute to the drafting and alignment of the IPR content with current and evolving relevant reporting standards, frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISSB, ESRS, CSRD, TCFD, Swiss CO., etc.), supporting their compliant implementation.
  • Act as a central point of contact and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. sustainability, Legal, HR, Operations) to gather, validate, and ensure the reliability, auditability, and reporting alignment of all data and information included in the IPR
  • Contribute to robust data quality processes and internal controls.
  • Stay informed on evolving ESG reporting standards, frameworks and regulations.
  • Participate in non-financial reporting audits and support limited assurance auditing.
  • Support the periodic Double Materiality Assessment
  • Support with ESG reporting software implementation

Your story

  • Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in financial, non-financial or sustainability reporting or a related field.
  • Familiarity with relevant non-financial reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. ISSB, ESRS, CSRD, TCFD, Swiss Co., etc.), and internal controls.
  • Good understanding of ESG topics and their increasing relevance to financial performance and risk.
  • Experience with data collection, management, and analysis, with a focus on data integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a reporting cycle.
  • Ability to work autonomously, efficiently communicate with stakeholders, and challenge the status quo.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and ESG data management platforms is an advantage.

About the Team

On’s non-financial reporting team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of all non-financial reporting. We play a critical role in providing stakeholders with a clear and comprehensive understanding of the company's performance and outlook as it relates to ESG topics. This new role will be embedded within the Finance team to bring specialized expertise in non-financial reporting, working in close collaboration with the sustainability team and others (e.g. Legal, HR, Operations, Communications) to gather and validate relevant data and narratives.
