We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Lead – Logistics Procurement Category Manager to join our Global Logistics Procurement organization. This is a high-impact role for a procurement leader with deep expertise in last-mile, parcel, and courier sourcing, managing significant freight spend across broad geographical regions. Global Logistics Procurement is responsible for sourcing and managing inbound transportation, outbound distribution and contract logistics operating as a core pillar of the Global Supply Chain organization. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our global logistics procurement strategy as we continue to scale and navigate a rapidly evolving logistics landscape.

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven leader who can operate at scale, influence senior stakeholders, and drive procurement transformation while delivering measurable P&L impact.

We are looking for a professional who can help On grow in the right way as we navigate the ever changing logistics landscape. This role is for someone who is able to solve problems at scale, lead strategic sourcing projects (incl. all main milestones such as strategy development, tendering, negotiation, data analysis and delivery of exceptional business case presentations) and support operational teams with contracts execution. The ideal candidate shall feel comfortable with driving the procurement transformation for its category. With this global role you will collaborate with Global Teams (Distribution and Logistics, Inbound Transportation, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, etc.) as well as Regional Operations teams (Americas, APAC, EMEIA). We are looking for an innovative and data-focused leader who is capable of working on complex projects, is proactive and has strong experience in setting up new enhanced transportation procurement standards.

Your Mission

As Senior Lead, you will own and drive the end-to-end global category strategy for parcels and last-mile logistics, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives, service expectations, and financial targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define, align, and execute a global parcels / last-mile / courier sourcing roadmap, delivering sustainable value creation, risk mitigation, and savings.

  • Lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives end-to-end, including strategy development, RFP design, tender execution, negotiations, supplier selection, contract award, and post-award performance governance.

  • Act as a senior-management escalation point for recurring commercial and procurement issues with logistics service providers.

  • Drive procurement transformation by developing and implementing enhanced global transportation procurement standards.

  • Partner closely with Distribution & Logistics, Inbound Transportation, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Regional Operations teams across Americas, APAC, and Europe.

  • Support procurement initiatives and contract negotiations for contract logistics (warehousing) where required.

  • Prepare and present executive-level business cases, supported by robust data analysis and market intelligence.

  • Monitor logistics and transportation market development globally, proactively identifying opportunities for renegotiation, corrective actions, or new tenders.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic logistics partners, recognizing that procurement is fundamentally a people-driven discipline.

    Your story

    To succeed in this role, you bring a proven track record of leadership in global logistics procurement and strategic sourcing.

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics procurement and strategic sourcing, with strong, hands-on expertise in parcels and last-mile transportation procurement at regional or global level.

    • Demonstrated management of high freight spend across multiple countries or regions (mandatory).

    • Proven mastery of end-to-end logistics category management, underpinned by a strong understanding of logistics procurement processes and market dynamics.

    • Solid operational logistics experience (minimum 4 years), enabling effective collaboration with operations teams.

    • Experience in contract logistics (warehousing) procurement is highly desirable.

    • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive continuous improvement.

    • Highly analytical, data-driven, and comfortable translating complex data into clear executive recommendations.

    • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, particularly Sheets/Excel and Slides/PowerPoint.

    • Confident and credible communicator, able to engage effectively with senior leadership, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

    • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in dynamic and ambiguous environments.

    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple workstreams.

    • Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
