As we continue our rapid global growth, the Product Management organization plays a pivotal role in defining and delivering innovative, iterative solutions that enable our strategy. As our Head of Product for the Finance and Operations clusters, you will be a strategic leader responsible for the overarching product strategy, roadmap, and direction across one or more significant product areas. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of On's growth. You will inspire and guide a team of Product Managers who contribute to solutions that embody operational excellence and holistic thinking across our technology landscape. You will play a key role in enabling scalable, efficient, and future-ready operations that accelerate On’s strategic goals and elevate our customer experience.

Your Mission

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Shape and articulate a product vision and long-term strategy that aligns with On’s financial and operational goals, and share it across the business. Focus on how technology can enhance business processes, drive efficiencies, and improve decision-making within Finance and Operations.
  • Inspire and Empower: Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of Product Managers that works cohesively across Finance and Operations. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, while ensuring technology solutions align with operational and financial objectives.
  • Drive Product Roadmap & Execution: Guide and oversee the development and prioritization of product roadmaps, partnering closely with Engineering to ensure timely and high-quality execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology implementation.
  • Champion User Insights: Promote a deep understanding of our users’ needs, pain points, and aspirations through user research, data analysis, and feedback loops. Use these insights to inform strategic product decisions and inspire meaningful solutions that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance of financial and operational processes.
  • Foster Innovation: Cultivate a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and approaches that streamline financial and operational workflows. Inspire the team to find innovative ways to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and deliver value to the business.
  • Leverage Data for Impact: Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to identify and define key financial and operational metrics that drive business success. Foster a data-driven approach to decision-making, ensuring that these metrics are used to monitor product performance, optimize processes, and align technology investments with overall business objectives.
  • Lead Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with leaders from Finance, Operations, and other business functions to ensure that technology product strategies are aligned with On’s broader goals. Foster strong partnerships to ensure technology solutions meet the needs of finance and operations teams.
  • Guide through Finance and Operations Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the Finance and Operations domains. Leverage this knowledge to identify new opportunities for technology product innovation and ensure technology solutions are future-proof and adaptable to evolving business requirements.

Your story

  • Proven Product Leadership: You bring 8+ years of experience in technology product management, including leadership roles, where you have helped shape and deliver technology solutions that enable and enhance core business operations. You have a strong track record of aligning tech initiatives with business strategy to drive measurable impact at scale. You have successfully led initiatives that have driven operational efficiency and enhanced financial decision-making
  • You have extensive experience in ERP, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance systems, ideally with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations, or comparable ERP and cloud-based platforms. You have solid knowledge of integration methodologies and end-to-end core business processes
  • You have a strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex financial and operational challenges into actionable product strategies. You can develop and communicate a clear vision that bridges technology, business processes, and user needs
  • You are a natural leader with a passion for building and developing high-performing teams. You empower your team to achieve operational excellence and support their growth by fostering a collaborative, results-oriented environment
  • You have a deep understanding of customer-centric financial and operational solutions. You leverage these insights to build product strategies that improve business processes, reduce costs, and increase profitability
  • You are highly analytical and comfortable using data to drive decision-making. You track key performance indicators within Finance and Operations and leverage data to guide product development and ensure continuous improvement
  • You understand the role of technology in optimizing financial and operational systems and can effectively collaborate with engineering teams to deliver complex technical products. Experience with platform solutions and digital ecosystems is a plus
  • You are a highly effective communicator, capable of articulating ideas clearly to diverse audiences. You communicate effectively with senior leadership, cross-product and functional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on goals and impacts
  • You are well-versed in agile methodologies and know how to apply them to develop and deliver technology solutions. You adapt agile processes to help cross-functional teams execute efficiently and stay aligned with business needs
