Whether you’re looking to jump start your career or gain first hands-on experience in a new field, an internship at On offers you a unique growth experience, the chance to make an impact from day 1 and contribute to On’s growth journey. We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

  • Start date: Sept 1, 2025
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in Switzerland
  • Note: This is a paid internship

Your Mission

  • As a sports science intern, you will design and carry out human-centred tests to optimise human and product performances
  • You will also serve a vital role in validating and maximising the impact of R&D’s products through both advising and testing
  • Design tests and perform data collection utilising sports science tools
  • Perform data and statistical analysis
  • Prepare concept and results-based reports and presentations, communications to technical and non-technical audiences

Your story

  • Either completed a Bachelor’s or currently doing a Postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) degree in Sports Science, Biomechanics, Engineering, Physical activity or Sport product conception
  • Comfortable with independent data collection and interpretation, statistics and the creation of summary results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal

About the Team

The Sports Science team drives product innovation by generating data and insights from scientific studies, simulation engineering, athletes and community feedback to optimise the performance of the entire ON product and innovation portfolio.
