Our Talent (HR) team is heavily expanding to support On’s explosive growth, and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as Talent Operations Specialist, with a focus on our German population.

This role is for someone who has experience in Talent Operations, ideally in a fast-paced, scale-up environment. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching new challenges, appreciates a streamlined and supportive process, and has a passion for innovative solutions. While Germany will be your main focus, you will also support other EMEA entities where needed.

Your Mission

  • Manage all day-to-day employee lifecycle operations for our German entity, including payroll and statutory benefits for both office and retail team members
  • Work with external vendors to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of monthly German payroll, ensuring compliance at every step
  • Prepare monthly payroll input for retail employees, including commissions and bonus payments
  • Act as the key point of contact for local authorities (e.g. tax offices, social security agencies) and for team members with payroll-related inquiries
  • Process equity payments correctly and ensure compliance with more complex employment setups, such as cross-border employment or relocation cases
  • Expand your scope by supporting the setup of new benefits for our different entities across EMEA, such as health insurance and pension
  • Manage the fleet for our sales functions in Germany and other countries within the EMEA region.
  • Opportunity to take on more responsibilities as we develop into new EMEA markets
  • Support on immigration regulations and appropriate permit setups, as well as tax and social security implications within EMEA (including shadow payroll)

Your story

  • Proven experience in German payroll, Talent Operations, or a related field
  • You speak German and English fluently – any other language is a plus
  • Knowledge of German labor law is a must
  • Experience with retail operations
  • Great communication skills across different stakeholders, used to handling confidential data
  • You are highly detail-oriented, and precision is your strength
  • You are resilient and can handle complex situations
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You enjoy looking for opportunities to improve processes, bring in new ideas, and own projects from start to finish
