In short

Our Talent (HR) team is heavily expanding to support On’s explosive growth, and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as Talent Operations Specialist, with a focus on the central EMEA region .

This role is for someone who has experience in Talent Operations, ideally in a fast-paced, scale-up and retail environment. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching new challenges, appreciates a streamlined and supportive process, and has a passion for innovative solutions. While Germany will be your main focus, you will also support other EMEA entities where needed.

Your Mission

  • Manage all day-to-day employee lifecycle operations for our central EMEA entities, including payroll and statutory benefits for both office and retail team members
  • Work with external vendors to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of monthly payroll, ensuring compliance at every step.
  • Prepare monthly payroll input for all team members, including commissions and bonus.
  • Act as the key point of contact for local authorities (e.g. tax offices, social security agencies) and for team members.
  • Process equity payments correctly and ensure compliance with more complex employment setups, such as cross-border employment or relocation cases
  • Expand your scope by supporting the setup of new benefits for our different entities across EMEA, such as health insurance, pension or employee benefits.
  • Manage the fleet for our field roles in the central EMEA region
  • Opportunity to take on more responsibilities in terms of project management as we develop into new EMEA markets.
  • Support on immigration regulations and appropriate permit setups, as well as tax and social security implications within EMEA (including shadow payroll)

Your story

  • Proven experience in German, Talent Operations, or a related field 3+ years
  • You speak German and English fluently – any other language is a plus
  • Knowledge of German labor law is a must
  • You are used to work with excel in your day to day
  • Experience with retail operations is a plus
  • Great communication skills across different stakeholders, used to handling confidential data
  • You are highly detail-oriented and precision is your strength
  • You have experience in project management and you don’t shy away from challenges
  • You are resilient and can handle complex situations
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit – you enjoy looking for opportunities to improve processes, bring in new ideas
