Senior Lead - Digital GTM Transformation, Virtual Merch tool

In short

We are looking for a dedicated and visionary Digital GTM Transformation Senior Lead to lead the implementation of a visual merchandising tool (virtualretail.io), ensuring seamless integration into our Go-to-Market (GTM) ecosystem. This role is pivotal in building, enhancing and rolling out key assortment visualization capabilities, implementing a dedicated digital platform and continuously improving the tool to support our evolving GTM engine. Ultimately this role will be key to increase visibility, accuracy, and consistency in decision-making across different design, merchandising, visual merchandising, sales, marketing and retail activities.

Your Mission

  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and evolution of our visual merchandising platform as a foundational enabler for seasonal and long-term go-to-market excellence
  • Translate cross-functional business priorities into scalable platform capabilities, ensuring alignment across merchandising, visual merchandising, sales, retail, and brand experience functions
  • Develop and refine immersive virtual environments (e.g., stores, showrooms) by leveraging 3D assets to elevate product storytelling, planning, and buyer engagement
  • Drive the integration strategy with core systems and workflows, driving data consistency and automation across the merchandising and commercial tech stack
  • Lead change management efforts across global and regional teams, acting as a key enabler of adoption, process alignment, and behavior change across design, merchandising, sales, and retail functions
  • Act as the primary liaison with engineering, IT, and external partners, ensuring the platform roadmap is delivered with agility, scalability, and future-readiness in mind
  • Embed the platform within our end-to-end GTM process, collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to streamline planning, visual merchandising, and sell-in experiences
  • Champion a user-centric approach by institutionalizing feedback loops, owning training frameworks, and ensuring best-in-class tool performance during key commercial milestones
  • Define success metrics and track impact across omnichannel alignment, buyer decision-making, and sell-in effectiveness

    Your story

    • Experience: You have 8+ years experience in digital transformation, ideally within visual merchandising, or retail tech solutions
    • 3D Fluency: You are familiar with 3D assets, tools and workflows (e.g. SketchUp or similar design software). Ability to create or edit store layouts and fixtures independently is a strong plus
    • Ability to shift seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, connecting long-term vision with day-to-day delivery
    • Technical fluency: You have a strong understanding of AV/VR technologies, data structures, system integrations, and software implementation processes
    • Project management skills: You have a proven ability to manage complex implementations involving multiple stakeholders and a varied set of requirements
    • Stakeholder management: You have excellent collaboration skills across business teams, engineering, and external partners
    • Analytical mindset: You have the capability to translate business challenges into actionable product requirements and data-driven insights
    • Change management experience: You are experienced in driving adoption and behavior change across large, decentralized organizations
    • Industry Knowledge: Some experience in sports or fashion industries is a plus

    About the Team

    The Digital GTM Transformation team is part of the Commercial Operations organization at On. We lead programs that improve and scale our go-to-market (GTM) processes through the implementation and use of digital tools. Our focus is on making GTM teams and operations more efficient, connected, and future-ready. We work closely with teams across Commercial Operations, Commercial Strategy, Product and Technology.
