The world’s fastest-growing running brand is seeking a Business Controller to join the fast-paced Controlling team. With your business partnering experience you will serve a key role in the regional team and have a direct impact on the financial performance of our region. you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting business data to drive strategic decision-making. This is a highly cross-functional role that will need to partner with, coordinate and influence multiple departments, channels (Wholesale, Retail, eComm), and teams both within APAC and Globally. It’s a great chance to influence both existing and future business processes and strategies and allows the right candidate a chance to showcase best in class financial, retail and commercial knowledge

Your Mission

  • Act as key business partner with regional leadership and marketing team by coaching and developing financial acumen and capability in daily decision making and long-term planning. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partnering with the marketing department leads across the organization to ensure that marketing strategies and campaign activities are integrated with our commercial objectives and being aligned with the overall company priorities including brand, consumer, as well as financial ones.
  • Implement and optimize all marketing and campaign policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the resources efficiency and prioritize spending.
  • Lead and drive regional marketing budgeting, forecasting for all regional OPEX and marketing expenses, e.g. regional quarterly forecast and yearly budget planning to meet expected results. Create actual vs budget cost analysis view with story behind it, creating monthly/quarterly/yearly variance report.
  • G&A Analysis: Track and report on actual vs. budgeted / forecasted costs, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed; monitor and control costs across key areas, identifying regions for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining a high standard of financial discipline.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc projects across the APAC region.

Your story

  • 10+ years experience in marketing, G&A cost management, or FP&A in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally with focus on opex control is preferred. Experience in the sport or consumer goods industry is a plus.
  • Education of Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. - - Familiar with financial planning and analysis tools such as Anaplan or Power BI is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent English, communication, presentation skills
