Sales Representative (Regional Sales)

We are excited to offer the position of Sales Representative for the Region to an experienced, entrepreneurial person to come join our growing team. Our success is based on strong collaboration with the best retailers and specialty stores in Japan through a unique service concept: deliver happiness to our customers with premium product and personal support. Together with our accounts, On hopes to inspire the human spirit through movement, connect with new consumers, and energize existing On fans.

Your Mission

  • Manage sales activities in the Central Japan area (Kanto, Chubu, Hokuriku) by formulating and proposing annual business plans and sell through plans based on customer sales analysis
  • Analyze the client's sales, inventory, and store status, and make appropriate delivery proposals
  • Create and execute short (seasonal, annual) and long range (3-5 years) business plan and align with accounts
  • Lead and manage seasonal sell-in with customers and internal monthly business meetings
  • Communicate smoothly with clients and On Japan team
  • Expand On brand recognition in Central Japan together with the tech rep and marketing teams

    Your story

    • 3+ years of experience as a sales representative or store salesperson in the sports or fashion industry preferred
    • You relish the challenge of developing business with the existing customer base as well as creating new opportunities for growth
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively without supervision and the ability to collaborate with a team as needed
    • Excellent communication skills and can smoothly negotiate with customers.
    • Well versed in Excel for Data analysis
    • Fluent in Japanese (Writing & Speaking), Business level English will be added value

    About the Team

    As a member of the On Japan Sales Team, you will collaborate closely with other sales team members, marketing, and account services (customer service) teammates in Japan. You will support a wide range of accounts in your territory, from specialty running stores to fashion boutiques, with a focus on sustainable growth. Our office is located in Shibuya, Tokyo.
