Head of Group FP&A Controller

Our Group Controlling team is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Head of Group FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Controller. This role involves driving the company's financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, thereby supporting strategic decision-making throughout the organization. The role will collaborate closely with various financial leaderships and the functional controllers to ensure financial targets are met and risks are effectively managed. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of corporate finance principles, excellent attention to detail and exceptional communication abilities.

Your Mission

  • Own and drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across the organization, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models in close collaboration with functional controllers, the IT team (Anaplan), and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team to support a cohesive, company-wide strategic planning process.
  • Consolidate financial plans across all business units and deliver insightful reports—such as profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, and other key financial summaries—to support executive decision-making and long-term performance optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and functional controllers to understand business drivers and interpret monthly financial results, identifying key trends and variances, and translating numbers into actionable insights.
  • Prepare high-quality financial deliverables for executive stakeholders, including monthly variance analysis reports, materials for the Audit Committee, and Board-level presentations.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support risk assessment, strategic decision-making, and business growth planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the Controlling function and across Finance. Champion best practices and identify innovative ways to enhance systems, processes, and reporting.
  • Lead or contribute to key finance initiatives and cross-functional projects, bringing financial expertise and a strategic perspective to broader organizational priorities.

    Your story

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
    • 8–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or corporate finance.
    • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
    • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems (Anaplan preferred).
    • Experience working with BI tools (Looker preferred) is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
    • Proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
