Apply for this role(opens in a new tab)As Senior Lead Operations Enablement - Allocation and Optimisation, you are accountable for the strategic ownership, design, and continuous improvement of the order allocation and optimisation business capability. In this role, you ensure that this business capability is aligned, scalable, and effectively supported by processes, data, and systems. To achieve those goals, you are also tasked to establish and lead a specialized and high-performing team.
Define the order allocation strategy based on commercial omni-channel priorities and aligned with integrated business planning.
Establish rules and frameworks governing key input factors of allocation, ensuring efficiency and stability of allocation results in close collaboration with Commercial, IBP, Planning teams and regional Ops teams.
Establish clear rules for ATS (Available-To-Sell) to ensure accurate inventory visibility, jointly with the order management & release team.
Develop the capability to optimise supply utilisation and demand fulfilment within and across distribution channels for different business goals.
Drive continuous improvement of the allocation and optimisation strategy based on stakeholder feedback and advanced data analytics.
Determine and measure key performance indicators related to allocation and optimisation.
Act as single point of accountability to the Technology team in the process of defining, developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions that enable scalable and efficient allocation and optimisation.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects impacting allocation and/or optimisation.
Ensure knowledge sharing by delivering trainings to key stakeholders based on comprehensive documentation.
Build and lead a high-performing Allocation and Optimisation Enablement team.
8+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations, preferably dedicated to order allocation and optimisation in an omni-channel retail environment.
Deep understanding of allocation and optimisation methodologies, paired with an appreciation for integrated business planning and commercial strategy.
Ability to lead and contribute to strategic and cross-functional projects.
Hands-on experience using Business Intelligence tools and advanced data analytics to understand and simulate allocation and optimisation patterns.
Experience in collaborating with technology teams on defining, developing, testing, and implementing systematic solutions, particularly for planning or allocation systems.
Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus and resolve conflicts.
Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts, provide training, share knowledge, and act as a single point of contact for diverse stakeholders.
