As Director of Global Demand & Supply Planning, you will lead the creation of an optimal global demand–supply match to serve our customers worldwide. Your organization will enable On to achieve its long-term growth goals by delivering industry-leading On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) fulfillment.

You will oversee global capacity planning, long-range demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory strategy, integrating AI-driven insights and advanced analytics to boost forecasting accuracy, agility, and efficiency. You will champion intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making to free your team from manual processes and enable them to focus on high-value planning.

Your leadership will ensure excellence in global planning processes, aligning with On’s strategic objectives while delivering a premium customer experience for both internal and external stakeholders—and fostering a culture that reflects the On spirit of innovation and performance.

Your Mission

  • Set the global strategic direction for Demand & Supply Planning, ensuring initiatives align with On’s Long-Range Plan (LRP) and support sustainable growth.
  • Leverage AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to enhance forecast accuracy, detect market shifts early, and adapt supply plans in real time.
  • Implement digital twin simulations and scenario modeling to proactively assess risks and opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Lead your team in developing integrated supply strategies that optimize inventory, capacity, and distribution across all global markets and channels.
  • Develop the matrix relationship and competence of the regional demand planning teams.
  • Drive new and improved order and distribution methods unlocking speed to market and rapid replenishment models.
  • Partner closely with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team to lead monthly Demand & Supply Reviews, ensuring clear, data-backed risk and opportunity assessments for executive decision-making.
  • Drive intelligent automation (RPA + AI, Agentic) to simplify complexity, improve planning cycles, and increase operational agility.
  • Champion a consumer-first mindset, accelerating faster-to-market initiatives with planning processes that keep the end consumer at the center.
  • Embed sustainability into planning decisions, using analytics to minimize waste, optimize transportation, and improve environmental impact.

    Your story

    • 12+ years of progressive experience in demand and supply planning for a global sportswear, fashion, or consumer goods brand.
    • 5+ years leading high-performing, cross-functional teams in a global setting.
    • Deep expertise in responsive, data-driven supply chain planning, covering demand forecasting, supply planning, purchasing, sourcing, inventory management, and distribution.
    • Proven track record of implementing AI/ML tools in demand forecasting, supply optimization, and scenario planning.
    • Experience with Integrated Business Planning and leading demand and supply reviews at the executive level.
    • Strong capability to drive digital transformation in planning processes, integrating data from multiple systems to create real-time visibility and actionable insights.
    • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, with the ability to dive into the details and work directly with your team to solve complex problems and enable execution.
    • Fluent English language skills.
