In short

As the Head of Responsive Programs, you will lead a global transformation to make On’s supply chain more agile, consumer-centric, and scalable. You will design and implement new operating models that drive never-out-of-stock availability, rapid replenishment, maximized OTIF performance, and the ability to dominate in run.

Your leadership will enable On to unlock supply chain bottlenecks, deliver process excellence, and build a responsive muscle that brings us closer to consumer demand. Through strong cross-functional development and alignment, you will ensure that initiatives integrate seamlessly across product, operations, and commercial teams. Ultimately, you will enhance premium customer experiences while achieving sustainable financial results by reducing reliance on airfreight, optimizing delivery methods, improving inventory turn rates, and enabling scalable growth.

You will deliver process excellence, with the ultimate goal of re-integrating the faster to market initiatives in the overall operating model. And focusing again on making On faster and more responsive to consumer demand changes.

Your Mission

  • Global Initiative Leadership: Incubate, develop, and scale supply chain programs that increase On’s responsiveness to consumer demand across all product categories.
  • Consumer-First Responsiveness: Drive global initiatives—special projects, replenishment programs, shorter design programs, and ready-to-react initiatives—to improve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and ensure On continues to dominate in run.
  • Build Responsive Models: Design and implement new business models focused on agility, rapid fulfillment, and continuous replenishment, with the long-term goal of integrating them into On’s standard operating model.
  • Unlock Bottlenecks & Optimize Global Impact: Identify and resolve critical supply chain bottlenecks while reducing airfreight dependency, optimizing logistics and delivery methods, and maximizing inventory turn rates to strengthen financial performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with product, supply, commercial, and operations teams to ensure responsive programs are aligned across the organization and deliver maximum business impact.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a focused team of responsive planners to generate precise demand plans, align global capacity, and ensure the right products are in the right markets at the right time.
  • Excellence & Scale: Deliver operational excellence while building scalable, future-ready models that push the status quo around speed, agility, and responsiveness in On’s global supply chain.

    Your story

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in demand and supply planning for a global sportswear or fashion brand
    • 5+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
    • Experience with responsive supply chain planning, demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, sourcing, warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution for a global consumer goods brand
    • Experience with Integrated Business Planning and leading demand and supply reviews to align business goals and drive decisions.
    • Proven ability to incubate and scale new programs and processes from concept to full integration within a global operating model.
    • A strategic and action-oriented leader with a focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.
    • Strong analytical skills with a knack for using data to make closer-to-market decisions and improve key metrics like On-Time-In-Full (OTIF).

We are focused, data-driven but also action-oriented. We build and follow processes, but we also continuously challenge the status quo and “industry standards”. We work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and balance our current supply and demand, and support our business’ global growth.
