Senior Specialist - Tax

In short

We are looking for a Tax Senior Specialist to join us at our APAC HQ office in Shanghai and working closely with our APAC team to support for the tax related issues. You will have the opportunity to explore the tax compliance process not only in China, but also in our APAC region. You will use your strong tax acknowledge and good communication skills to support tax compliance affairs.

Your Mission

  • Prepare documents and information requested by external firms for annual CIT filing for APAC entities, and manage the end-to-end CIT lifecycle, including tax provision, forecasting
  • Handle preparation of withholding tax filing, fringe benefit tax filing, fixed assets tax filing for APAC entities, and optimize transactional tax outcomes
  • Communicate with local finance teams for collecting, verifying and clarifying accounting information where necessary during the annual filing work
  • Create value by managing fixed assets lifecycle, optimizing depreciation
  • Coordinate with external accounting firm and internal stakeholders to obtain special report for assets losses where applicable
  • Support in providing relevant tax information for annual statutory financial audit and tax audit cases from tax authorities
  • Act as a strategic business partner, translating complex tax issues into commercial implications and building influential relationships with senior leaders across functions
  • Support as a mentor and knowledge leader, training junior staff, developing best-practice documentation, and elevating the capabilities of the entire tax function

    Your story

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in tax, accounting or finance.
    • Having 6-8 years’ experience in tax function. GL accounting experience is a plus.
    • Self-starter with innovation, integrity, and attention to details with strong sense of responsibility.
    • Good verbal communication and written skills in English and Chinese. Second foreign language in Japanese/Korean is a plus.
    • Excellent multi-tasking skills and quick reaction to ad-hoc tasks.
    • Work under pressure and good service manner.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office like excel, ppt etc.
