Senior Lead - GTM and Strategic Planning, EMEA ( 8 month Maternity Cover - Fixed term contract to start asap)

In short

We are looking for an 8 month maternity cover to support on a fixed term contract as our EMEA GTM and Strategic Planning Senior Lead, you will lead our end-to-end commercial GTM process. Your main objective will be to secure input and alignment across channels and functions to drive an integrated and optimized EMEA commercial plan. You will shape our community, channel and geographic strategy together with the Sales, Marketing, Digital, Retail and Merchandising leaders and you will create memorable experiences for our EMEA Commercial team by leading and orchestrating key commercial milestone meetings across functions.

Your Mission

  • Develop our season-over-season strategy for EMEA with a focus on consumer-back planning and channel, community and geographic strategy that allows us to reach our long-term brand vision and our seasonal objectives
  • Lead strategic planning of the GTM process to ensure the development of commercially viable and innovative products, launch plans and stories for the EMEA markets
  • Collaborate closely with the Global commercial GTM, Product team, and EMEA cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, e-commerce, retail, supply chain and merchandising to develop and optimize processes, ensuring we get the right people in the right room at the right time, all while holding them accountable to their GTM deliverables.
  • Manage the agenda, content, and seamless execution of critical commercial milestone meetings (such as commercial briefing, pre-line, sell-in) - getting the EMEA team ready to excite our fans and partners season over season.
  • Align and coordinate the seasonal calendars across all EMEA channels and markets.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Sales Enablement and Sales Experience teams to implement and enhance our current tools and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the commercial organization and the way we work with our partners - essentially optimizing our sell-in process.

    Your story

    • Ideally around 7+ years of experience in a consumer product GTM / Sales and/or Marketing Operations function at a global brand, working across multiple product categories.
    • Experience in footwear, sportswear, fashion, or related consumer industries is a plus
    • Proven experience in project management and implementing cross-functional processes while collaborating with teammates at all levels of the organization.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight timelines
    • Strategic, consumer-first mindset with the ability to translate global vision into clear regional and channel strategies
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate independently.
    • A positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills, including communication and leadership. - Strong communicator and influencer, effective at partnering with senior leaders and diverse cross-functional teams
    • Team-oriented leader who values empathy, curiosity, clarity, trust, ownership, and accountability
    • Must be fluent or C1+ in English (written and verbal) as this is our shared professional language at On. Additional languages are a plus!

    About the Team

    You will join the EMEA Strategy team, which plays a cross-functional and enabling role in the EMEA leadership at On, with a focus on commercial topics. It is a newly formed team that requires the explorer spirit to build things and bring the right existing components together. This team is comfortable with dynamic turnaround times and ambitious targets. The shared mission? To ignite the human spirit through movement.
