Our Talent (HR) team is expanding to support On’s growth, and we are looking for a strategic and inspiring leader to join us as our Head of People Analytics. This role is for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in building and leading an analytics function, ideally in a fast-paced, global environment. The role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who can set the vision for people analytics, drive business value, and build a high-performing team.

Your Mission

  • Leadership & Strategy: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing People Analytics and Talent Data team. Define and execute the strategic roadmap for people analytics, aligning it with high-priority business and talent objectives.
  • Commercial Mindset: Operate with a ‘business impact’ mindset; demonstrate strong commercial acumen to translate data-driven insights into strategic business decisions that drive measurable value and improve organizational performance. A key focus will be supporting our growing retail business.
  • Analysis & Insights: Conduct and oversee advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the entire employee lifecycle, including employee listening, talent and performance management, learning and development, and diversity & inclusion.
  • Storytelling & Influence: Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven stories and presentations that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to senior audiences, including C-Suite and HR Leadership teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a thought leader and strategic partner to HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders. Proactively identify opportunities for analysis, manage project roadmaps, and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build key relationships and collaborate across functions, including HR, Finance, and Strategy, to support long range growth and workforce planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging themes in the people analytics domain, identifying opportunities to introduce external perspectives, enhance our analytical capabilities, and maximize impact.
  • Data Integrity & Governance: Champion data integrity and governance. Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data, including partnering with Data Privacy & Governance teams to ensure compliance and obtain approvals.

    Your story

    • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in the data analytics field, with a significant focus on People/HR/Talent analytics.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of building and managing analytics teams.
    • A firm grasp of how to best use quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies to inform strategic business and talent decisions.
    • Expertise in developing and delivering compelling data-driven narratives to executive-level audiences.
    • Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect people data to business outcomes.
    • Expert-level reporting skills and proficiency with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., One Model, Visier).
    • Experience with Workday is a strong advantage.
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and data integrity.
