Location: Zurich

In short

As our Lead Analytics & Decision Intelligence, you will be the principal architect of our integrated supply chain steering platform. Your role is to transform complex global data into a world-class visualization and modeling layer that empowers our end-to-end planning teams. You are a unique hybrid: a technical expert who understands the nuances of stochastic modeling and analytics engineering, and a user-centric designer who obsesses over creating intuitive, high-fidelity interfaces. You will be responsible for engineering the interactive systems that allow On’s leadership to navigate volatility and make high-stakes decisions with clarity and confidence.

Your Mission

  • Design the Unified Visualization Layer: Lead the UI/UX design and development of our integrated planning interface, ensuring a holistic, "Single Pane of Glass" view across the entire global supply chain.
  • Build the Logic Layer: Collaborate with the Technology team to architect and build scalable dbt models and semantic layers that serve as the "Single Source of Truth" for all planning decisions.
  • Model Probabilistic Outcomes: Develop and deploy stochastic models (e.g., Monte Carlo, Discrete Event Simulation) to stress-test the supply chain and identify operational boundaries and resilience thresholds.
  • Translate Business Logic: Codify complex supply chain rules—from service level definitions to multi-echelon inventory targets—into automated, high-integrity technical calculations.
  • Drive User-Centric Adoption: Conduct research with Planners and Directors to ensure analytics tools are intuitive, actionable, and seamlessly integrated into S&OP and execution cycles.
  • Synthesize Global Data Flows: Orchestrate complex data joins to bridge informational gaps between ERP systems, real-time logistics milestones, and demand signals.

    Your story

    • 5-7+ years of experience in Data Modeling or Analytics, with a proven portfolio of high-end BI/Visualization projects (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
    • Technical Toolkit: Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Snowflake, or BigQuery); familiarity with Python/R for statistical modeling is a plus.
    • Design Thinking: Strong competency in UX/UI principles—you know how to organize information hierarchies and design for "exception-based" management.
    • Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of E2E Supply Chain metrics (WAPE, OTIF, Inventory Turns) and the mathematical interdependencies between them.
    • Stochastic Mindset: Experience with, or a strong desire to apply, probabilistic modeling and simulation to solve real-world capacity and risk problems.
    • The Storyteller: Exceptional ability to simplify complex data structures into clear, visual narratives for non-technical senior stakeholders.
    • Proficient English language skills. Other languages are a plus.

    About the Team

Our Analytics & Decision Intelligence team acts as the central nervous system for On’s global supply chain. We bridge the gap between complex data architecture and strategic execution. By leveraging a modern tech stack and advanced stochastic modeling, we transform raw signals into a holistic visualization and steering layer. We don’t just report on the past; we de-risk the future through resilience simulation and probabilistic planning, ensuring every choice is backed by rigorous math and high-fidelity, intuitive design to empower seamless end-to-end decision-making.
