Apply for this role(opens in a new tab)The world’s fastest-growing running brand seeks a Mexico City based Senior Lead, Accounting + Reporting, for Mexico across all channels (Ecom, Retail, and Wholesale). In this role, you will collaborate with our Americas Finance team based in Portland, Oregon, which includes FP+A, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Finance Systems, as well as our Group Accounting + Reporting and Controlling teams at our Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. With support from the teams in Portland, Oregon and Zurich, Switzerland, and in collaboration with local accounting support services, you will lead all accounting activities for On Mexico, and report to the regional Head of Accounting for the Americas. The expected continued fast growth of On and its regional footprint will require strong strategic, analytical, tactical, and leadership skills while providing ample personal and professional development opportunities. Manage daily business tasks in coordination with your Americas Finance team and local external consultants including management of all accounting activities, local tax requirements and legal considerations. Ensure complete and accurate financial reporting as well as the timely and compliant month, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting processes, including taxes, in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements; Partner with local bank relationships and work with the Global Treasury Team on financing needs, transfer pricing, custom requirements, etc; Own, enhance and/or develop internal controls in accordance with Group requirements in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls environment, ensuring up-to-date process and controls documentation; and Lead and/or contribute to exciting projects and ad hoc tasks in a highly challenging growth environment.

7-10 years of relevant work experience in accounting and reporting, including exposure and knowledge in both B2B and B2C environments. Work experience at Public Accounting Firm and / or a public company is a plus;
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance;
Advanced and proven knowledge of IFRS. ACCA / CPA certification is a plus;
Strong understanding of accounting and reporting policies and the respective process and system needs (D365 experience desirable);
Strategic, analytical and problem-solving mindset and able to work independently and/or with cross-functional teams;
Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams, both directly and indirectly;
Understands stakeholder needs and requirements in a fast-changing environment with the ability to deal with deadlines and delivering based on priorities; and
Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset with strong hands-on execution and decision making skills.
Ability to read, speak and write English fluently.
