In short

We are looking for a Senior Specialist - Global Mobility Tax and Travel to join us here at On! You are someone who moves fast, thinks strategically, and never settles for good enough. As Senior Specialist - Global Mobility Tax and Travel you will own the end-to-end business traveler and assignment support for all functions globally. You will be embedded in a lean, high-ownership team where your impact is felt immediately and your fingerprints are on the team member experience for requests ranging from simpler invitation letters to complex cases that require a high degree of coordination, understanding of business need, and the ability to distill complex tax, immigration, or travel topics into simplified explanations for all business stakeholders.

Your Mission

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of global mobility policies, ensuring competitiveness and compliance for short/long-term assignments and business travelers.
  • Act as the lead consultant for mobility into complex jurisdictions, with a specific focus on Switzerland and APAC regulatory landscapes, ensuring policy alignment with local labor laws and tax treaties.
  • Manage the technical evaluation process for "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) and cross-border commuters, delivering expert assessments on Corporate Tax Nexus and Permanent Establishment (PE) risks.
  • Partner with Finance and external advisors to resolve intricate issues involving shadow payroll, social security totalization agreements, and personal income tax (PIT) liabilities for mobile employees.
  • Design and oversee the end-to-end compliance ecosystem for business travelers, ensuring all international movements trigger appropriate visa, tax, and social security assessments.
  • Act as the high-touch primary point of contact for senior leadership and complex assignees, managing their requests and minimizing risk.
  • Drive the performance of external vendors (RMCs, Big 4 tax firms, immigration counsel), holding partners accountable to rigorous SLAs and KPIs.
  • Oversee the mobility budget and global billing processes via Coupa, ensuring accurate cost allocation and identifying opportunities for cost-containment.
  • Leverage mobility data to provide leadership with actionable insights on population trends, program ROI, and compliance heat maps.
  • Identify and implement digital solutions to streamline the "travel-to-visa" workflow and improve the employee experience.

    Your story

    • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Global Mobility, International HR, or Tax/Immigration Consulting.
    • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of social security treaties, double tax treaties and general knowledge on visa categories.
    • Empathy: Exceptional communication skills; you can translate "legalese" into human language.
    • Vendor Savvy: Experience managing external partners and holding them accountable to SLAs.

    About the Team

We are a hands-on Global Mobility team who believe that a strong foundation is built on knowledge, success is built on teamwork, and scale is achieved through automation and tech stack optimization. As a Global Mobility professional you should be as intuitive and forward-thinking as the people you support, finding ways to communicate complex topics effectively to guide business decisions and minimize risk for the individual team member and the organization. While we support the business as a function of our HR organization,, we don’t just "administer" programs and activate vendors, we build, customize, and innovate entirely in-house. Our mission is to deliver an excellent team member experience with knowledge, action, and a high degree of focus on the team member experience.
