Senior Specialist - Talent Business Partner, Retail

Our Talent (HR) team is expanding with the growth of On and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to help in shaping On’s people agenda through collaborating with the team on a variety of people related topics. This role is for someone who strives for efficiency, whilst continuously seeking new and improved ways of delivering people processes for our Hongkong, Macau, Guangzhou & Shenzhen Retail and teams.

Your Mission

  • Build strong, strategic partnership with the Retail Leadership Team to identify the needs and develop short and long term talent plans in the responsible stores, and input planning, development and implementation of talent strategies and processes.
  • Drive store organizational effectiveness by conducting strategic store workforce planning. Utilize diagnostic toolkits to identify opportunities, advise store leadership on solutions, and partner with them to implement impactful changes in organizational design and people development.
  • Act as a true partner for the business by advising managers and team members on people related matters, e.g. team effectiveness, individual performance, and employee engagement.
  • Act as a key liaison, fostering deep cross-functional collaboration with the Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, Performance & Growth, and Training teams. You will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable requests for the appropriate teams and establishing a continuous feedback loop to ensure solutions are developed and executed effectively.
  • Partner closely with global counterparts on larger global talent initiatives and programs
  • Lead strategic people topics and programs that reflect and further impact the values and beliefs of the business, such as in the areas of Diversity & Inclusion, Well-being, Spirits, etc

    Your story

    • 5+ years of experience in an HR Advisory / HR Business Partner role in an international, fast paced environment
    • 3+ years of experience in Retail HR
    • Experience with Hongkong/Macau labor legislation and employee relations
    • A team player with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives when being challenged
    • You enjoy being hands-on while having a strategic mindset
    • Exceptional ability to build relationships and communicate with a broad variety of stakeholders
    • Ability to extract actionable people insights from raw information and data
    • Can-do attitude and an innovative way of solving problems
    • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
    • Fluent in English/Mandarin/Cantonese
