Specialist - Brand Activation, UK (North)

As a Brand Activation Specialist, you will work with the local UK & Ireland market team to bring the brand to life through dynamic, hands-on community and event activations. You will build authentic, meaningful relationships and partnerships that position On at the heart of our communities—helping grow On’s fan base and connection with runners and movers. You are a true brand ambassador, consistently driving engagement with the brand and deeply connected to what is happening within our community.

Your Mission

  • Drive brand education by collaborating closely with shopfloor teams to deliver impactful brand and product training.
  • Support sell-out targets through tailored training sessions, engaging product education, and hands-on sales support.
  • Foster strong, lasting relationships with retail partners and local communities to drive brand loyalty.
  • Act as the “hands on the ground” for the Marketing team - ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience through high-quality visual merchandising.
  • Support the rollout of POS installations at WHS Retail to deliver impactful campaigns and compelling product storytelling.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in CRM software and provide regular partner feedback to Trade Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate and execute consumer and trade events to enhance brand visibility, facilitate product trials, and create memorable brand experiences.

    Your story

    • Typically 3–5 years’ experience in brand activation, technical representation, B2B marketing, or events (brand marketing experience is a plus).
    • You should bring a genuine connection to sports, running culture, and movement, and understand how to translate that passion into meaningful brand experiences that resonate with communities.
    • You are confident in coaching, partner training, and technical product education, using these skills to support sales and marketing initiatives and drive measurable results. Your approach is hands-on and adaptable, with a solutions-oriented mindset when facing challenges in dynamic environments.
    • You bring strong customer service instincts and a solid understanding of the B2B retail landscape, enabling you to support retail partners effectively, enhance in-store experiences, and build long-term, value-driven relationships.
    • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, managing external stakeholders, and using excellent communication/relationship-building skills to excite communities.
    • You will be trusted to work autonomously, requiring you to be highly resourceful, organized, and self-motivated with strong project management abilities.
    • Embodies On’s 5 spirits, which guide our growth and collaboration.
    • Fluent in English (C1+) as this is On’s shared professional language, additional languages are a plus!
    • Valid diverse licence & ability to travel approximately 60% of the time aligned with business needs. Reasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with local applicable laws.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends.Unsociable hours will be reimbursed in lieu.
    • Based within proximity to North of England as you will represent Brand Activation for On in the North of UK.

    About the Team

    As part of the wider local Marketing team, the Brand Activation team is a central part of our brand experience – bringing the brand to life within our communities. Working closely with local Sales team and Marketing colleagues, as well as EMEA Brand Activation team to support our wholesale partners, deliver B2B activation and rollout training, and education. Simply put, your team is focused on delivering experiences; from the small one-to-one interactions, to product try-on experiences and partner summits, larger brand events and Oniversities; Making every interaction memorable and authentically On.
