As a Senior Specialist in Apparel Commercialization for SMU and Collaboration projects, you are a key part within the Sourcing team. Your mission is to ensure On’s most exclusive products meet the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and performance

This is your opportunity to join the world’s fastest-growing sports company. You will ensure apparel developments are executed in alignment with SMU and Collab calendars. Based in Zurich, Switzerland as part of our global Sourcing team, you will travel within the EU and occasionally to Asia to collaborate with our key manufacturing partners. The role reports to the Senior Lead - Apparel Commercialization Special Projects.

Your Mission

  • Monitor SMU and Collab calendars & ensure samples are submitted on time and styles are buy-ready on time to meet bulk production deadlines.
  • Ensure that the products developed are production-ready, and work with vendors to mitigate any risks.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with different business stakeholders, including apparel development teams, the project team at the creation center.
  • Collaborate with design & development teams to engineer cost-effective products. Costing and margin targets for assigned product categories must be coordinated.
  • Maintain good relationships with all suppliers to encourage transparent & open communication on sampling and costing efficiencies.
  • Certify all products past On testing requirements and standards

    Your story

    • At least 7 years of experience in apparel product development, commercialization, or production (experience with premium and sportswear is a plus).
    • Basic knowledge of materials & patterns.
    • A degree or qualification in design or garment manufacturing is preferable.
    • Deep knowledge of development and production processes.
    • Knowledge on garment testing, PLM and costing.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multicultural teams.
    • An entrepreneurial and open mindset, an eagerness for differentiation, and a natural push for excellence.
    • Able to balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in English is a must.

    About the Team

    You will join a dynamic, cross-functional team representing On’s Sourcing in Zurich, collaborating closely with experts across Design, Development, Materials, PM, Quality, Planning, and Production. As the Apparel Development & Sourcing team expands, you’ll work alongside senior experts, leads, and senior leads.
