In short

Are you the hands-on finance enthusiast we are seeking? We are looking for a process-oriented and numbers-driven team player to take ownership of our group-wide CAPEX. You will act as the financial architect of our global expansion, working at the intersection of Controlling, Retail, and Office Expansion teams. With your proven experience in accounting and a high affinity for modern cloud-based tools, you will take our CAPEX accounting to the next level.

Your Mission

  • Financial Integrity PPE: Act as the subject matter expert for the lifecycle of all fixed assets. This includes determining initial recognition, identifying subsequent expenditures that should be capitalized vs. expensed, and managing complex depreciation models and impairment testing.
  • Financial Integrity IFRS 16: Lead the accounting for the global lease portfolio. This involves ensuring the accurate calculation of Right-of-Use assets and lease liabilities, managing lease modifications (extensions, terminations, or rent concessions), and ensuring all disclosures meet the latest IFRS standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and remeasurements.
  • Global Connectivity: Act as the primary contact for all CAPEX-related requests, bridging the gap between global standards and local needs.
  • External Partner Management & Mentorship: Act as the primary point of oversight and quality control for our outsourced accounting provider. You will be responsible for reviewing their deliverables, and mentoring their team members to ensure alignment with our global standards and quality requirements.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate disclosure in our consolidated IFRS Financial Statements and oversee internal SOX controls.
  • Process Innovation: Actively challenge and automate global processes using our digital toolkit.
  • Strategic Documentation: Create and maintain robust process documentation and user guidance to support a scaling organization.

    • Effective Communication: Ability to navigate a matrix organization, effectively communicating complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels
    • Tech Savvy: You are a power user of MS Excel and Google Workspace. Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
