As Technical Senior Specialist, you are responsible for managing the technical and quality at On T1 suppliers in the EMEA and Turkey operation. As a key member of the globally integrated sourcing team and cross-functional Apparel & Accessories operation, you will be based in Zurich with frequent travel within the EMEA region upon request.
Standardizing the construction and production technology for premium apparel and accessories. This involves developing and documenting comprehensive technical specifications and best practices for product assembly and manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality, durability, and a premium aesthetic finish, enabling efficient, scalable production while maintaining high craftsmanship.
Evaluate the technical capabilities of suppliers and utilize cutting-edge technology such as bonding, laser/ultrasonic, sublimation print ... to elevate their capacity to a premium standard.
Conduct development sample inspections to identify quality issues, assess product safety, evaluate production feasibility, and propose solutions to achieve premium quality, minimize cost, and maximize productivity.
Serve as a pivotal representative for the Technical & Quality team in special projects to launch new products, new processes, and new technologies focused on achieving premiumization.
Bulk Production Quality Assurance:
Manage & monitor factory technical audits, improvement and supplier performance.
Conduct the in-process and final inspection of the total new and carry-over product during bulk production.
Manage problem-solving for existing and new production-related to technical, quality, process and system during bulk production.

Diploma or degree in Apparel Technology, Fashion Technology, Garment Engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and finishing standards.
At least 7-10 year’s experience in apparel development and manufacturing.
Strong experience with the functional sportswear (both woven and knitted), premium/luxury quality level is a plus.
Proficiency cooperating among the teams and with the international suppliers.
Willingness to travel to supplier locations in Europe.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a high sense of responsibility and the ability to manage and drive a project.
