To drive this commitment, we are looking for a dedicated Sustainability Data Specialist in Zurich who will support our data efforts for our sustainability ambitions and requirements. Contributing to our annual GHG accounting, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, and calculating Scope 1-3 data, and building end-to-end data flows to transform raw source data into actionable metrics. Leveraging your track record in carbon accounting and data engineering, you will execute data workstreams for sustainability disclosure and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with Tech and business stakeholders to streamline data workflows and systems, while supporting the Product Sustainability, Traceability, and Responsible Manufacturing teams with data needs. Your Mission

  • Collect, validate, and calculate Scope 1-3 data and manage relationships with data owners.
  • Model and map end-to-end sustainability data flows from source systems to reporting tools, transforming raw data into actionable metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and systems in collaboration with Tech teams.
  • Execute data workstreams for sustainability disclosure and regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD).
  • Support Product Sustainability, Traceability and Responsible Manufacturing teams with data collection, visualization, and engineering tasks.

    Your story

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
    • Min. 1 year of experience in sustainability data with a track record in carbon accounting, expert in GHG Protocol.
    • Ability to code in Python for data processing and automation of tasks.
    • Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouse architectures, including writing and optimizing queries.
    • Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
    • Strong understanding of sustainability metrics, reporting standards (such as SBTi), and global regulations.
    • High attention to detail with the ability to structure and validate complex data.
    • Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
    • Fluency in English.
    • Passion for sustainability.

    About the Team

    We are a small team with big responsibilities. We design and implement the sustainability strategy across On and help shape the future of the organization. We do research, create strategies and implement projects and innovate products and processes through the lens of sustainability. We are the strategic hub, setting the direction and pace for corporate impact by defining priorities, targets, and policies. We act as internal educators and enablers, providing tools and training, and then amplify our progress through clear communication internally and externally.
