In short

As Senior Specialist for Distribution Center (DC) Network Strategy, you will drive key initiatives and work streams which will enable the realisation of commercial ambitions through logistics network design. Your role will play a pivotal role in analysing data from multiple sources and translating this information into clear strategic and tactical initiatives.

You join us at a key point in defining and designing our DC Network Strategy. You will therefore be working closely with both the Senior Lead for DC Network Strategy and Director for Distribution and Logistics to shape our long term roadmap for our network in order to deliver On’s 2030 vision.

Your Mission

  • Own the Long Term Logistics Forecast: Lead the biannual long term forecasting cycle for Distribution & Logistics, starting from coordinating data collection across multiple functions, to validation of the data package, to delivery to our 3PLS.
  • Manage Capacity Commitments from 3PLs: Collect and collate capacity commitments from our 3PLs, drive visibility with global and regional supply chain stakeholders of those commitments.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement of Forecasting Cycles: Drive incremental improvement from cycle to cycle, by realising feedback from both internal stakeholders and 3PLs, improving utility and accuracy of the programme.
  • Support in developing a Logistics Network Strategy: Lead key work streams in network strategy initiatives from end to end, to ensure seamless integration of all key inputs into a logistics design and full alignment of all relevant stakeholders.

    • Effective Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly across business functions.
    • Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English is required; fluency in additional languages are a plus.
    • Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively and maintain momentum when shifting between complex projects or evolving business priorities.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build effective working relationships across all organizational levels to achieve collective targets.
