We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

  • Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in EU / Switzerland

Your Mission

  • Support the additive manufacturing (3D printing) cell within The Dream On Labs.
  • Assist in preparing files and determining the productability materials for both additive and subtractive manufacturing processes.
  • Service 3D printers, contribute to post-processing tasks, and help maintain high standards of workshop etiquette.
  • Learn to operate advanced machinery safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of teams across R&D.
  • Proactively address challenges by suggesting innovative solutions.

    Your story

    • Bachelors, Masters or Technical Diploma in a relevant field.
    • A passion for creating and a strong affinity for hands-on making.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Positive mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
    • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
    • Solid understanding of computer-assisted manufacturing processes; experience with slicing and CAM software is a plus.
    • Experience with 3D Printers or workshop machinery is a plus.

    About the Team

    The Dream On Labs in Zurich are On’s in-house extensive prototyping facilities, where bold ideas from the brightest minds in R&D come to life. The labs are home to a small, dynamic, and cross-functional team of experts, all driven by innovation. Together, we create cutting-edge prototypes, samples, and custom footwear in close collaboration with various research and design departments across On.
