Location: Zurich

We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

Duration: 6 months
Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in EU / Switzerland

Your Mission

Support the additive manufacturing (3D printing) cell within The Dream On Labs.
Assist in preparing files and determining the productability materials for both additive and subtractive manufacturing processes.
Service 3D printers, contribute to post-processing tasks, and help maintain high standards of workshop etiquette.
Learn to operate advanced machinery safely and effectively.
Collaborate with a wide range of teams across R&D.
Proactively address challenges by suggesting innovative solutions.

Your story

Bachelors, Masters or Technical Diploma in a relevant field.
A passion for creating and a strong affinity for hands-on making.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Positive mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Solid understanding of computer-assisted manufacturing processes; experience with slicing and CAM software is a plus.
Experience with 3D Printers or workshop machinery is a plus.

About the Team

The Dream On Labs in Zurich are On’s in-house extensive prototyping facilities, where bold ideas from the brightest minds in R&D come to life. The labs are home to a small, dynamic, and cross-functional team of experts, all driven by innovation. Together, we create cutting-edge prototypes, samples, and custom footwear in close collaboration with various research and design departments across On.
