Senior Lead - Corporate Strategy

In short

We are looking for a new team member in the Office of Corporate Strategy to join our team of explorers and dreamers. You will act as a strategic co-pilot to our most senior leaders, translating our 2030 Long Range Plan into actionable, high-impact initiatives. This is a role for a "strategic operator"—someone who can navigate the 30,000-foot vision but isn't afraid to dive deep into the data to solve our most complex business challenges.

Your Mission

  • Drive the Long Range Plan: Own and lead cross-functional strategic projects that define the future of On. You will be the architect of high-stakes initiatives across Product, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring they align with our global growth targets.
  • Independent Strategic Analysis: Perform rigorous, end-to-end quantitative and qualitative analysis. You will identify market white spaces, evaluate new business models, and provide the data-backed conviction needed to make "big bet" decisions.
  • High-Stakes Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team. You will prepare and facilitate leadership operating rhythms (Board meetings, Executive Offsites, and Monthly Business Reviews), driving clarity and decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Synergy: Break down silos by leading "working pods" across the business. You will influence leaders who don't report to you, ensuring seamless execution of transformation projects from discovery to delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Design and own the KPIs for our strategic portfolio, providing real-time visibility into progress, risks, and trade-offs for the leadership team.

    Your story

    • The Foundation: You have 5+ years of high quality, relevant experience, ideally with a significant tenure at a top-tier management consultancy. You have a proven track record of managing complex workstreams and high-performing teams.
    • Analytical Powerhouse: You are an expert in structured problem-solving and financial modeling. You can turn messy data into a compelling narrative and "quick and dirty" models into boardroom-ready insights.
    • Executive Presence: You are comfortable standing in front of senior executives, defending your recommendations with poise and clarity. You possess the "influence without authority" required to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
    • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in ambiguity. You don’t wait for a playbook; you write it. You are passionate about the intersection of performance, sustainability, and innovation.
    • Passion for the Brand: You live and breathe movement. Whether it’s a marathon or a morning yoga session, you understand the community we serve because you are a part of it.

    About the Team

    On’s Corporate Strategy Team is in charge of shaping and defining the company’s strategic roadmap so we remain the most exciting and fastest growing global sportswear brands. We work closely with On’s top management to drive key strategic and operational initiatives across all functions and regions. This implies developing On’s 5-year strategy, carrying out market analyses, as well as driving local execution. In order to have an impact on how On’s future is built, the team brings an entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset combined with strong analytical and hands-on execution skills.
