In short

Join us at the heart of the revolution. As a hands-on engineer in our LightSpray production sites, you will be the critical link between engineering and live operations. You will manage a growing production system, ensuring this disruptive technology is robust, repeatable, and ready to change the industry forever

Your Mission

Your mission is to be the critical bridge between engineering and the production operation. You ensure the operability and performance of the production machinery by applying lean methods. On is at the beginning of a critical and exciting journey, and this role is fully embedded in day-to-day operations to make our Lightspray innovation manufacturable, reliable, and scalable. You will spend significant time on the factory floor, to ensure performance, consistency, and scalability of a globally deployed production.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Commercialization & Product Launch Support

  • Act as the critical lead for bringing new products to life on the factory floor.
  • You will set up production for new launches by defining, applying, and refining the SOPs and standards required to ensure every new model is optimized for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Reach target performance (yield, output, quality) by connecting with responsible stakeholders and apply on field measures for improvements.

Machine Deployment & Site Integration

  • Lead the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new machine arrivals.
  • You will ensure every unit meets strict acceptance criteria, both at the supplier and onsitE guaranteeing seamless installation and conformity at our Tier 1 production sites.

System Evolvement & Fleet Stability

  • Manage the technical lifecycle of the LightSpray fleet. You will ensure all machine updates and retrofits are executed in a well-planned, organized manner that respects manufacturing obligations, minimizing downtime while maximizing technical progress.
  • Give feedback to engineering to ensure continuous improvement from a machine hardware and software perspective.

Process Industrialization & Quality Control

  • Serve as the onsite expert for troubleshooting and continuous improvement by monitoring process parameters and reporting technical deviations, you ensure manufacturing quality remains uncompromised.
  • You will establish the standardized work and control plans (SPC/PFMEA) to guarantee a stable, repeatable output, while applying structured, data-driven (Lean-based) problem solving to close performance gaps and eliminate inefficiencies.

Lifecycle Maintenance & Spare Parts Strategy

  • Take ownership of the physical health of the fleet.
  • You will organize spare part management and define maintenance SOPs, ensuring critical components are onsite and that care is performed with precision to safeguard machine longevity and operational readiness.

Partner Enablement & Capability Building

  • Build strong operational capability within partner organizations.
  • You train operators and technical teams, establish clear ownership, and ensure partners can run daily operations independently, within clearly defined system standards and boundaries.

Replication & Scale-Up

  • Translate local learnings into global standards.
  • You contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, standardized processes, and deployment models that enable rapid and reliable replication of the LightSpray production system across new sites.
