Apply for this role(opens in a new tab)The Specialist - Material Quality will ensure color excellence for On Apparel from end-to-end by building and maintaining standards, training global partners, and managing the approval process from development to bulk production.
Strategy & Standards: Partner with the Color and Material team to review the color palette each season and conduct risk color assessments on new colors and new materials.
Process Development: Build the color standard with the color team from end-to-end to ensure consistency across all product lines.
Supplier Enablement: Lead the onboarding and training of T1 & T2 suppliers regarding the On Color Approval process.
Quality Control: Manage 1st lot approval for fabric and trim submissions to ensure development intent is met in production.
Execution: Track and hand over approved lab dips and 1st lots to T1 & T2 suppliers to maintain strict control over bulk production.
Performance Management: Evaluate suppliers based on color KPIs and prepare strategic improvement roadmaps.
Continuous Improvement: Review suppliers' ongoing color performance and take corrective actions for continuous quality enhancement.
Problem Solving: Partner with the QA team to resolve technical color issues arising from T1 and T2 suppliers.
Self-Approval Program: Implement and manage the Self-Approval color program, empowering qualified suppliers to maintain standards while streamlining the production timeline.

Experience: 5–6 years of relevant work experience specifically in color management within the textile or apparel industry.
Technical Expertise: Deeply familiar with textile dyeing processes and the use of DataColor spectrophotometers.
Mindset: Must be driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Systems: User proficiency in Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, PLM, and various data visualization tools.
Soft Skills: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple activities and meetings across a diverse network of cross-functional teams and T1 & T2 suppliers.
Communication: Excellent command of both spoken and written English.

This role is crucial to the Sourcing Quality team and the cross-functional Apparel organization. Based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
