Senior Lead - Product Finance (9-month maternity cover)

One of the fastest-growing premium sportswear brands is seeking a Product Controller to join the fast-paced Product & Commercial Finance team. With your business partnering experience and your top-notch analytical skills, your mission is to be the financial navigator and partner to our industry-leading product and commercial teams, creating value by providing insights and supporting decision making. Critical to the success of this role is a collaborative and curious mindset, a desire to drive On’s growth journey and an ability to understand your audience and communicate your message clearly. Please note this is a temporary 9-month contract, with a target start date on August 1,2026.

Your Mission

  • Be the financial navigator to our Commercial & Product Strategy teams and product creation and vertical leads to drive On’s Apparel & Accessories portfolio strategy through the utilization of insights and trends to support the development of specific product strategies
  • Be the financial business partner for Lifestyle - Product Strategy team by creating reports, optimizing dashboards, delivering insights, facilitating this way decision making and transparency with clear and action-oriented insights on product performance and KPI measurement to ensure accountability
  • Proactively drive the Go To Market process through steering financial planning goals, aligned to On’s long-term financial ambition by partnering with global and regional merchandising and Integrated Business Planning teams
  • Lead seasonal target setting with the Product Strategy team in line with global financial ambitions
  • Deliver clear messaging regarding sales aspirations and margin targets to the Product and Costing Boards during Line Reviews
  • Collaborate with Product Operations team to drive integration of information between product system, reporting and planning tools
  • Collaborate with the Cost Analytics team to provide Product Managers and Vertical Leads with regular reporting including SKU efficiency reporting and margin/FOB support

    Your story

    • 7-10 years experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Business Partnering in an agile, high-growth environment
    • Experience / Understanding of product lifecycle and product strategy highly preferred
    • Education in the field of Business Administration or Finance -Exceptional analytical skills, the ability to combine classical metrics with innovative storytelling, and a philosophy of letting data find a voice
    • Cross-functional team-worker, able to demystify data and provide the support to the business to deliver the wow
    • Excellent English skills, and possessing a work permit for Switzerland
    • Experience with finance, analytics and data technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics, Looker, and Anaplan
