As the Senior Lead - B2B Marketing, Run Specialty, you will drive the strategic marketing direction for National Run Specialty Key Accounts and the Regional Run Specialty and Outdoor channels, ensuring On remains the most sought-after brand on the footwear wall. You will shape a comprehensive channel strategy that balances the scale of national retail powerhouses with the bespoke, community-first needs of local running shops.

Your Mission

  • Set the strategic course for the Run Specialty channel by building and applying a tiered, end-to-end support strategy that differentiates execution across national accounts and independent retailers

  • Oversee the deployment of complex, integrated marketing campaigns across in-store, digital, experiential, and media channels to ensure an elevated brand presence that drives customer velocity

  • Identify in-store opportunities and collaborate with Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to bring our brand stories to life, ensuring they reflect On’s high standards of excellence and design.

  • Serve as the senior strategic partner for both marketing leadership and internal sales leadership, driving alignment, synthesizing diverse interests, and securing necessary trade-offs at an elevated level

  • Drive cross-functional excellence by leading seamless collaboration with sales, trade, creative, PR and Tech Rep teams to amplify key brand stories and drive innovation in the B2B space

  • Anticipate market shifts and foresee potential obstacles within the B2B landscape, utilizing complex data and insights to continuously innovate and deliver solutions to new, complex problems

  • Champion a data-informed decision-making approach for all campaign development and performance measurement, ensuring marketing investments are precisely aligned with commercial objectives and deliver measurable, high-quality outcomes

  • Provide direction and support to cross-functional peers, skillfully simplifying complexity and aligning diverse teams to achieve shared organizational objectives

    Your story

    • You bring 7+ years of functional experience in B2B marketing, wholesale channel management, or retail brand marketing within a running global retailer or supporting large strategic accounts in that space

    • Deep knowledge of performance running trends, with the ability to translate insights into impactful marketing strategies

    • You are comfortable taking complex decisions and have a proven track record in balancing structured processes with an entrepreneurial innovation mindset, consistently challenging the status quo to find better ways of work

    • You are skilled in synthesizing people and interests, adept at anticipating, incorporating, and balancing the needs and concerns of various senior-level internal and external stakeholders to push execution forward

    • You possess a proven ability to design and implement multi-channel marketing plans on a global scale, skillfully adapting central strategies to local markets to ensure regional relevance and high-quality retail execution.

    • Consistently demonstrating strong dedication and accountability, you reliably lead multi-faceted projects that require collaboration across various regional and global teams.

    • You are recognized for your willingness to confront difficult projects, resolve complex challenges constructively, and drive meaningful organizational change while treating conflicts as growth opportunities.

    • You are prepared to travel up to 30% of the time to engage with global offices, retail partners, and brand events, adapting your schedule to meet business demands.

    • Bilingual (English/French) preferred

    Typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus + equity: <$120,000-$150,000>. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location.
