HR Specialist, South Europe (Italian OR French speaker)

Our HR team is heavily expanding to support On’s explosive growth, and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as Senior HR Specialist in the HR Operations Team.

This role is for someone who has experience in HR Operations, ideally in a fast-paced, scale-up and retail environment. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys new challenges, appreciates a streamlined and supportive process, and has a passion for HR compliance. While France & Italy will be your main focus, you will also support other EMEA entities.

Your Mission

  • You act as the country-specific HR-support for France, Italy, Spain and Portugal Local labor law and labor relations expertise, providing guidance to local managers, Business Partners and HR teams (in partnership with Legal where required)
  • You facilitate HR trainings on updated country legislation to our stakeholders
  • You are responsible for the exit process and administration in each country
  • You support locally in the roll out of new benefits, and contribute to regular benefits reviews in collaboration with Total Rewards team
  • In collaboration with the payroll specialist you own leave management and administration for your countries in scope
  • You support our HRBPs in investigations
  • You advise and guide the business, as well as employees on HR compliance topics (policies, benefits, employment set-ups, and leave management incl. parental leave)
  • You support local audits, health & safety activities and, mandatory reportings
  • You are responsible for assessing proposals from business or stakeholders and raise concerns proactively where needed, while providing solutions based on local regulations and independent risk assessment
  • You introduce new initiatives to ensure HR compliance in your respective countries in accordance with NCA
  • You support new market and new entity launch as well as support new store openings and acquisitions, to support On's continued growth
  • You support the ER team as a point of contact for the trade unions and works council
  • You deliver and improve HR operations processes in the region, aligned to global processes in collaboration with Payroll and other HR Functions.
  • You drive and own execution of regional HR operations projects, and take part in global HR projects when required

    Your story

    • 5-8 years HR Operations/HR Specialist experience (scale up or multinational preferred)
    • Fluency in English, and proficiency in at least Italian or French. Any other local language is a plus
    • Hands-on HRIS experience (Workday) and used to working in excel and google sheets.
    • Proficient knowledge of local labour law, social security and tax compliance, in minimum one local market (experience from several markets is a plus)
    • Great stakeholder management, attention to detail, used to handling confidential data, and a premium service mindset
    • You don’t shy away from challenges, the unknown and demonstrate resiliency at all times
    • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy thinking outside the box, always looking for ways to improve
    • Experience in project management, labor relations and retail operations are seen as a plus
