We’re looking for a dynamic Digital Commercial Manager to join our APAC South team and lead commercial & marketing strategy across various online platforms. In this fast-paced role, you will play an integral part of establishing On within SE Asia, lead in laying the foundations for growth through various operational and logistical projects, drive brand growth and customer engagement, manage relationships with key online marketplaces and agencies, and develop marketing programs that increase brand awareness and revenue. Working closely with the Senior Lead - Digital South APAC and supported by the wider APAC Digital team, you’ll oversee multichannel commercial and marketing initiatives to enhance our digital footprint and customer reach within SE Asia.

Your Mission

  • Play an integral role in building the foundations for SE Asia, assisting in establishing avenues for localized fulfilment and logistics through internal and external partners
  • Work closely with internal teams to establish new ways of working and processes to suit the SE Asia markets in key functions like operations and customer Service
  • Build and execute commercial digital strategies to drive brand awareness, acquisition and retention.
  • Manage both brand webshop and key online marketplace accounts, driving marketplace promotions and growth.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders, including agencies and WHSO Distribution partners, to implement end-to-end campaigns.
  • Lead and manage agency relationships, overseeing campaign implementation and business development.
  • Oversee budget and agency relationships to ensure effective ROI on different marketplace platforms
  • Work collaboratively with regional leads to ensure alignment with the broader business strategy.
  • Deliver growth, focused on revenue, conversion rates, and optimizing the customer journey.

Your story

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a digital commercial management role with experience in working with functions across warehousing, logistics, operations, and customer service
  • You have 5+ years of experience in leading digital campaigns within a global organization, with a strong understanding of campaign lifecycle management, multi-channel strategy, and KPI ownership
  • You are experienced working within cross-functional teams, interfacing with ecommerce merchandising (website/app), research and insights
  • You have a strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions that balance innovation and efficiency
  • You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, with the ability to identify and implement the best strategies across various digital marketing channels
  • You are data-driven and can analyze and leverage campaign performance data to inform future strategies and drive optimization
  • You are entrepreneurial and proactive, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and driven to take ownership of key initiatives and inspire others toward success
  • Proven experience in managing agency partners.
  • A track record scaling a platform through strategic, data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing tools and turning insights into growth strategies.
  • Experience with digital marketplace platforms (e.g., Shopee), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and campaign implementation.
  • Experience working closely with international teams, scaling operations, and managing across borders.

About the Team

This role in the short term will be based in Shanghai or Hong Kong,but the successful candidate will need to be open to possible relocations within the APAC region depending on business needs. You will sit at the intersection of several incredible teams packed with talented people based primarily in Melbourne & Shanghai. As you might expect from a sportswear brand, the Digital team at On is a fast-paced place to be. This team of interdisciplinary all-stars are used to rapid turnaround times and ambitious targets. From engineers to designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists, this is the team responsible for creating winning digital products and campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel.
