On is expanding its retail presence and shaping the future of performance retail. We’re looking for a dynamic Retail Design Lead , reporting to the Sr. Lead – Retail Design, to help bring our vision to life across APAC. In this role, you’ll lead the store design workstream for new retail locations – with a primary focus on distributor market stores & DTC Store – in close collaboration with internal cross functions and external partners.

Your Mission

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for distributor market store projects, and support direct-to-consumer stores when needed from initial concept to build-out
  • Translate On’s brand, values, and visual identity into architectural design, ensuring consistency and quality across all store environments
  • Manage appointed design team to deliver design packages, including zoning concepts, 3D modeling, visualizations, sample boards, and presentations for internal and external reviews
  • Ensure compliance with ON’s global design guidelines, local building codes and landlord criteria, and health and safety standards as appropriate
  • Partner with distributor client, local architects, external design vendors, contractors, and suppliers to deliver spaces that meet On’s standards and timelines
  • Review architectural drawings to verify alignment with the approved design intentions
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams – Construction, Leasing, Retail Operations, Visual Experience/Merchandising, IT for coordinated smooth execution
  • Monitor design progress, ensure on-brand execution, and support landlord communications, visiting sites as needed

    Your story

    • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
    • Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in interior design for premium retail brands
    • Led design projects for premium retail stores from concept to completion, including franchise/distributor operated stores
    • Proficiency in working level English
    • Proven track record of successful retail concept development or design managing role of key projects
    • Expert in 2D/3D software: AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign, etc.
    • Expert in interior material selection and usages
    • Expert in detail-oriented construction and fixture development
    • Experience in local building codes, accessibility regulations and other relevant construction constraints
    • Experience in fast-paced projects with the ability to manage consistently tight deadlines, multiple projects and deliverables.
