We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Machine Operator to join our team.
You will be responsible for operating machines that incorporate an extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting.
The Production Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing any minor issues that may arise during production.
As a Production Machine Operator you will:
Operate production machines that utilise extrusion, automation, and robotics technology
Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and quality standards
Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets quality requirements
Conduct routine maintenance on the machine to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may impact production efficiency
Follow established production schedules to meet output targets. Maintain thorough and accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and efficiency
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a production environment, with knowledge of extrusion, automation, and robotics
Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and quality standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
You are able to communicate in English
