In your role as Director of Information Security, you’ll be a key player in safeguarding On’s digital landscape, leading a skilled team to fortify our systems while fostering a culture that balances risk-taking with responsible security practices. Your strategic insight and problem-solving prowess will navigate us through cyber threats, ensuring On is secure, resilient, and a step ahead in the realm of digital security.

Your Mission

  • Drive Global Security Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive information security strategy across On’s worldwide operations, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in safeguarding assets.
  • Spearhead Information Security Practices: Oversee diverse teams to fortify systems, products, and data, implementing robust security policies across all global production environments.
  • Manage Risk and Compliance: Assess and mitigate risks, ensuring On adheres to international security standards and compliance requirements, while effectively communicating security risks to stakeholders.
  • Drive Security Strategy and Awareness: Elevate security as a core cultural value, shaping and advocating for comprehensive security strategies that are integrated into the business operations.
  • Enhance Security Across Platforms: Ensure rigorous and consistent security practices across all systems, overseeing diverse security domains from infrastructure to threat response.
  • Educate and Harden Our Infrastructure: Strengthen On’s infrastructure and networks, imparting essential security knowledge and practices throughout internal teams.
  • Champion Secure Technology Practices: Instil a security-first mindset within engineering teams, guiding the secure development of tools, services, and systems across the company.

Your story

  • You hold a degree in computer science, information management, or a related field, providing you with a solid foundation in information security principles.
  • With over 8 years of hands-on experience, you have developed, implemented, and refined security architectures across large-scale products and intricate cloud infrastructures.
  • You have a proven track record in crafting comprehensive security policies and procedures, guiding engineering teams through secure and continuous deployment practices.
  • You are well-versed in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure, with an expert grasp on their security controls, ensuring a robust and secure cloud environment.
  • You’ve successfully led teams within Agile software development frameworks, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • You are familiar with global compliance initiatives and security frameworks such as ISO, GDPR, PCI DSS and FedRAMP, ensuring On’s practices are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Your leadership skills are top-notch, inspiring trust and excellence within your team and across the broader On organisation.
  • You bring strong oral and written communication skills to the table, paired with fluency in English. Your ability to influence and articulate ideas ensures clear and impactful interactions across all levels of the organisation.
