In short

Due to rapid growth in our Direct To Consumer (DTC) business, we are looking for an E-Commerce Merch Planning Senior Lead: to meet our goals as a regional business E-Com channel.

You will work on the America’s Ecom team, in a uniquely cross-functional environment where you will have a high level of autonomy. We make ideas happen fast while at the same time developing strategies and implementing processes to ensure we are creating a plan for durable growth. You will have the opportunity to both pivot quickly and shape the long-term vision of the team.

As the Senior Lead Merch Planner you will drive best practices within a team of merch planning specialists, elevate key processes and help shape the tools that will be used to help us meet our regional goals. Partnering closely across the team, leveraging data analysis and insights to identify emerging trends and current gaps in our business operations. Your job will be to fully own the product lifecycle from production through end-of-life by providing sell-through insights, overstock and pricing analyses, brokering trading discussions with wholesale—thinking on your feet and shaping strong stakeholder partnerships across multiple functions—to plan and continually optimize in-season against financial goals.

Your Mission

  • A key team member of the Americas E-Commerce team, you will build best practice and approach to our seasonal merch planning process.
  • Collaborating across the E-Commerce Merch Planning team in building forecasts in key categories. Leveraging insights from historical data, market trends, product, business development and the wholesale business. Own the timely execution of the key deliverables within the merch planning calendar.
  • Set the category strategy expansion based on key market insights and sell through performance for the E-Com channel.
  • Partner closely with the Global Digital Commercial team in aligning best practices and ensuring consistency of forecasting approach across regions.
  • Support your E-Com team through omni channel alignment and regional buy strategy.
  • Support inventory management through re-forecasting/order book trades and discussions between DTC ECommerce, DTC Retail, and wholesale.
  • Work closely with sales enablement to uncover risks and opportunities across the product portfolio ahead of launch.
  • Partner with online visual merchandisers and the overall AMERICAS DTC ECommerce team to make key recommendations and influence the product presentation onsite and in marketing channels.
  • Seek ways to improve processes, tooling and collaboration with global and regional counterparts.

  • Innate understanding of digital customer behavior, product lifecycle, market trends and how seasonality can impact product portfolio efficiency. An organized and proactive thinker, with the ability to build process in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience leading complex problems or teams and developing cross-functional relationships.
