We are looking for a Sustainability Projects Lead to be the point contact for all supply chain social compliance and impact-related matters. On top of working very closely with On’s Tier 1 and Tier 2 apparel and footwear suppliers, the role will also include beyond compliance activities and projects related to social impact strategy, wages, grievance mechanisms, and stakeholder engagement. The role is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Your Mission

  • Lead a team of two Social Compliance Specialists, reporting into the Head of Sustainability APAC
  • Own and manage compliance initiatives with Tier 1 and Tier 2 factories - managing audits and CAP's and ensuring constant tracking and improvement of supplier performance
  • Develop and conduct training on the ground with suppliers and On internal teams on compliance standards
  • Support other sustainability team members with project implementation on the ground in Asia
  • Synthesize ideas and challenges in order to create solutions and create more efficiencies in a fast paced and strong growing environment
  • Lead the road into Tier 2+ compliance initiatives

Your story

  • Background in compliance audits, local labor regulations, fashion or similar manufacturing industry experience in Asia
  • 8+ years of experience in the field of compliance, preferably within the apparel or footwear industry
  • Good project management skill with attention to detail and ability to understand how to navigate a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to think strategically, as well as execute operationally on the ground
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong data analysis abilities and problem solving skills
  • Extensive MS Office skill
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English
