We are excited to offer the position of Lead-DTC Finance Accounting, to an entrepreneurial member of our growing Great China team. On is the fastest running brand globally. Your Mission

China Focus:

  • Lead the retail accountant team and managed retail-related finance tasks, such as supervising monthly closing and reconciliations, improving the current internal processes, etc.
  • Actively influence and contribute to the E-commerce business and improve the automation level.
  • Corporate closely with business partners (retail team and E-commerce team) to be well-prepared for fast-paced growth.
  • Manage the retail accountant team to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and capability to succeed in their roles.

Rest of APAC:

  • Create the reconciliation template for all retail stores in the rest of APAC (Hong Kong, Australia, Korea)
  • Take over the DTC-E (webshop) tasks from the global accounting team
  • Be responsible for month-end closing activities related to the retail stores and E-commerce in the rest of APAC to ensure it is in line with the global calendars.
  • Be the representative of the Finance team in the new store opening process. Contribute in the creation of financial processes for the new stores and actively involved in the preparation stage.
  • Manage the cross-communication with several teams, including the global retail tech team, the global system team, the local retail team, and the external consultants if needed.

Your story

  • Experience with the retail industry is a “Must”
  • A strong educational background and proven work experience in accounting/finance
  • Leadership experience and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills within a global organization
  • The ability of easily multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and prioritize between multiple tasks
  • Motivation to be part of building up state-of-the-art accounting function
  • Fluency in Chinese and English both written and spoken.
  • Experience with the D365 system is desirable
  • Japanese or Korean speaking is a plus

About the Team

As you might expect from a sports brand with running at its core, the Great China team at On is a fast-paced place to be. You’ll be part of the Great China Finance team and co-working with a group of highly motivated individuals. The shared goal? Efficient growth at high speed- what else?

This role is based in Shanghai, China.
