The Lead - Capacity Planning will ensure On's business growth over the next 3-5 years by securing sufficient production capacity across all global manufacturing partners. This role is crucial to the global supply chain team and the cross-functional apparel & accessories organization. Based in Hanoi, Vietnam, the role requires frequent travel within Asia, Europe, and Zurich.
Ensure global production capacity availability for Apparel & Accessories suppliers to meet On's 3-5 year growth plan
Drive efficient order allocation with Development & Production Planners
Negotiate and track seasonal factory capacities based on long-term planning forecasts
Ensure forecast timelines are met and commitments are closed with suppliers
Communicate forecasts to internal material teams/suppliers for T2 order management
Establish and run continuous production models in factories with Demand & Supply planning teams
Run capacity-efficiency projects based on product mix, production output & factory automation
Share monthly order vs forecast and capacity utilization reports with stakeholders
10+ years experience in apparel production/planning, 4-5 years in manufacturing
Basic knowledge of technical products & GSD
Degree in garment manufacturing preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, ability to work with multicultural teams
English proficiency
