The world’s fastest-growing sports brand is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build up and lead the next chapter of growth in its Bags, Packs & Equipment collection. Based in Zurich, yet frequently visiting our globally spread team and key retail partners, this pivotal role will help lead strategies to ensure we bring progressive and exciting products that are relevant for our consumers.

Your Mission

  • Responsible for the global product collection management in close collaboration with Design and Development teams, you will be a key partner in the creation of industry-leading bag, packs and equipment collections.
  • Your in-depth consumer knowledge and understanding of the evolving retail landscape will guide you to develop and drive business plans that are in line with our strategy while meeting consumer’s needs.
  • You are the voice of our consumer throughout the product creation process, leading the evolution of the product roadmap by identifying consumers’ needs and ensuring our products are fit for purpose.
  • You will gather data and insights as well as feed in future trends to initiate seasonal kick offs together with cross functional teams.
  • Your role consists of monitoring all the strategic analysis processes of the accessories collections and ensuring full alignment with the Go-To-Market plan by partnering with all key stakeholders in Merchandising, Sales & Marketing teams and participating in major presentations, milestones and launches.
  • You are constantly connected to the Innovation and Sustainability teams to ensure the range is forward-looking and industry leading.
  • Manage margin, cost and pricing to ensure maximum efficiency while achieving our financial goals.
  • You own and represent product lines during key account and sales meetings.
  • Ensure product accuracy and most up to date product information and USPs are maintained across internal and consumer facing touch points.

Your story

  • 10+ years of experience in product line management or merchandising within the sporting goods and/or fashion industry focused on bags, packs and equipment.
  • 5+ years in Category management as well as brand building within a global role in the sporting goods or premium lifestyle/luxury environment.
  • A higher education degree (bachelor or above) in Business Administration, Product Management, Marketing or any other related field.
  • Deep understanding of the premium lifestyle and sports performance markets to build out competitive product lines and advise on product positioning pricing and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated strength in project management and ability to deliver through-out the full creation process end-to-end.
  • You are a strong communicator with proven experience presenting, negotiating and adapting, given the needs of different audiences.
  • Passion and experience bringing exciting products to market within the sporting goods and/or fashion industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage complex projects whilst sticking to critical timelines and deadlines.
  • You embody an entrepreneurial attitude, have proactive ambitions and willingness to take on complex challenges.
  • Strong data analysis skills, and ability to decipher product performance to inform future decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in working independently through strategic plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
