In short

On is looking for a business-oriented, pragmatic, and proactive employment lawyer to join the On Legal Team in Zurich, Switzerland reporting to the Head of Employment Law. Someone who has a demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload, while proactively anticipating issues in this rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a multinational environment and handling a wide range of employment law topics in our global company for various jurisdictions.

Your Mission

  • Advising HR functions and management in all aspects of labour law
  • Providing support on employment issues for Switzerland and other countries (particularly EMEA)
  • Managing terminations, revising termination agreements, and overseeing disciplinary procedures in different jurisdictions
  • Amending, reviewing, and updating employment contracts and related documents for different jurisdictions
  • Ensuring company-wide adherence to labor laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with local lawyers
  • Supporting HR in employee disputes and negotiations
  • Handling employment litigations
  • Working closely with the global mobility team and advise on all aspects of labor law
  • Creating and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Employment law support in local and global HR projects

Your story

  • Completed legal degree in Switzerland, or has relevant and a proven track record of Swiss employment law experience
  • At least 5 years PQE as an in house counsel or in a law firm
  • In-depth experience with relevant employment laws and regulations, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently but also in a team environment
  • Positive and hands on mentality
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Swiss residency

Being part of the Legal Team at On means being an entrepreneurial minded self-starter, with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, an understanding of overarching team and company goals, who likes teamwork and is not afraid of venturing into unknown territory and working autonomously with a high degree of proactiveness. In your role you will have a global function in the Legal Team and be involved in various legal matters in the EMEA region as well as on a global scale.
