We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist - Machine Operator Plastics (Kunststofftechniker) to join our team. You will be responsible for operating machines that incorporate an extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting. The Plastics Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing any issues that may arise during production.

Your Mission

  • Operate production machines that utilise extrusion, automation, and robotics technology
  • Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets quality requirements
  • Conduct routine maintenance on the machine to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact production efficiency
  • Follow established production schedules to meet output targets.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and efficiency
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working Environment
  • You will conduct quality standards for Raw Materials

Your story

  • Vocational training or higher as a Polymer- and Plastics Technician.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience as a Plastics Technician in a production environment, with knowledge of extrusion, automation, and robotics.
  • Familiar with Lean Processes
  • Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
  • You are able to communicate in English or German
